Terms of service
Last updated October 13, 2026. Using the artist portal means you agree to these terms. Creamt Recordz is based in Accra, Ghana.
1. Service
Creamt Recordz provides digital distribution, publishing administration, playlist pitching, ad campaign setup and management, studio sessions and collaborations, and an account for submissions and earnings. Distribution may be delivered through technical partners and digital stores. Partners are not named in the artist interface; Creamt remains your point of contact.
2. Eligibility
- You are at least 18, or a guardian has consented.
- You own or control the rights in what you submit.
- The account information is accurate.
- You follow the laws that apply to you, including the laws of Ghana where they apply.
3. Ownership
You keep the copyright. By submitting, you grant Creamt Recordz a limited license to distribute the music, to use your name and artwork for promotion, and to collect and pass on royalties according to your access track and these terms.
Publishing administration
Publishing administration is free. You keep the copyright in the composition. By submitting a publishing registration you appoint Creamt Recordz to administer only the share of that composition you name. Of the publishing income Creamt collects on that share, 70% is credited to you and 30% is retained by Creamt Recordz as the administration commission. This split does not change master royalties under Free, Paid, or Custom distribution. Shares you do not include are not administered. You confirm that you control the share you submit and that any sample or cover is cleared or disclosed. Collection follows society and store reports. Registration and a particular amount are not guaranteed.
4. Distribution access
Once Free, active Paid, or approved Custom access is open, a distribution submission may be validated and delivered. A successful send does not mean a release is live at every store. Status may move through review, delivery, live, or changes needed. Creamt may refuse or return a release that fails validation or store rules.
- Free — self-serve after email verification. The artist share of royalties filed to the account is 70%. Access does not expire while the account remains in good standing.
- Paid — 600 GHS for 365 days. The artist share is 100% for the paid period. Access ends when the paid period ends unless renewed.
- Custom — application reviewed by staff. The royalty share is set case by case when the application is approved.
5. Fees
Paid distribution shows its GHS price in the account and may be changed by Creamt. Campaign, session, and other service fees are confirmed with you before work goes out. Custom royalties are set on approval. Processor fees are not Creamt’s to absorb.
6. Prohibited content
- Work that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark.
- Uncleared samples or impersonation of another artist.
- Hate speech, harassment, or illegal content.
- Explicit content that is not labeled.
- AI-generated work that is not disclosed.
- Fraudulent streaming or manipulation of charts.
7. Payments
- Royalties are paid monthly or quarterly, following store reports.
- Your share follows Free, Paid, or Custom as set when the money is filed.
- The minimum payout is $50.
- You provide a valid payout method.
- A charge opened on your account is money you pay the label in Ghana cedis. Pay with MTN, Telecel, or AT mobile money, or Visa or Mastercard on secure checkout. A charge is paid only when our payment processor confirms it.
8. Ending an account
We can close an account that breaks these terms, sends infringing or fraudulent work, or abuses staff or other artists. You can ask to close yours by email. Distributed music may be taken down.
9. Liability
Creamt is not liable for a store’s editorial decision, a store’s technical failure, earnings lost to fraudulent streaming, delivery partner outages, or indirect damages. Playlist pitches are consideration only; placement is never guaranteed.
10. Changes
We may update these terms and will email you, or say so in the portal, when a change is significant. Continuing to use the account accepts the update. Free and Paid royalty percents and the Paid price may be changed for future filings and renewals.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ghana, with Accra, Ghana as the primary venue unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
